The Portsmouth Herald on June 26, 2008 printed an erroneous story stating that the Town of North Hampton allows the use of fireworks by permit. The Town of North Hampton by local Ordinance does not allow the sale, possession or display of Fireworks within the town boundaries.
Only a Pyrotechnist licensed through the State of New Hampshire after meeting all permit and insurance requirements is allowed to display Fireworks in North Hampton.
